It is the abbreviation of Belgian International Air Service. BIAS is the Belgium Airlines that created on July 1, 1959 by Charles van Antwerpen. BIAS is the kind of cargo and rented plane. BIAS is well-known international flight in the international flight from Belgian. 

At the first time, BIAS had flight in the Belgium colonialism in Africa. The mainstay plane is DC4plane and DC6 plane. Then not long after that, they move to DC8. Then the company stopped the operation on 1970. In 1967, there is cooperation between BIAS and SABENA. The schedule of the flight was published on the Common Market Commuter using de Havilland Heron aircraft. On 1973 their cooperation was finished and BIAS decides to use Douglas DC8 with Delta Air Transport. 

The strong body makes it as the super cargo in its era. It can carry the big goods. It proves by having two flight accidents happened on 1966 and 1969. BIAS was off in 1980. Although it does not operate, it should be appreciated as the best Belgium Airland in the era.
